The expression on this child's face, incorporated with the darkness of this photograph, implies one of two feelings. This child is either faced with a feeling of sadness, or with a feeling of satisfaction. What this toddler has in it's mouth is unknown to me, however, it could be food of some sort, or a pacifier....either way, sadness or satisfaction.....I can really appreciate that this photograph has multiple stories that it could tell.......

Do these in compressed charcoal or something on a bigger scale! They'd be really intense looking.

It's ink, i use fineliners. I find loose ink far too messy and i'm no Gerald Scarfe!
