I've been looking into silverpoint lately; if you don't mind my asking, what type of ground did you use, and what is the age of the tarnish on this piece?

This piece is actually only about a week old and is very white. I just photo things in my rather orangely lit room. A bad habit!

The ground i use is simply layers of acrylic gesso. Usually i'd make it quite smooth but i put too much gesso on at once and it got a bit liney. Luckily i liked it in this =]
